At Carolina Grant Solutions, we take pride in helping organizations secure funding for impactful community initiatives. This month, we’re celebrating the success of the Books for Free (BFF) program, an initiative of the Rockingham County Public Library (RCPL) Bookmobile, made possible by a generous grant from the Reidsville Area Foundation (RAF)—and a winning application written by Carolina Grant Solutions!

The "BFF" program was designed to put books directly into the hands of children and families across Rockingham County—completely free of charge. Through this initiative, the Rockingham County Public Library Bookmobile traveled to underserved areas, ensuring that everyone, regardless of background, had access to books and the opportunity to develop a lifelong love of reading.

With funding secured through a successful grant application written by Carolina Grant Solutions, the Reidsville Area Foundation grant enabled the BFF program to:
- Distribute free books to children and families across Rockingham County.
- Expand the reach of the RCPL Bookmobile, bringing books to underserved neighborhoods.
- Promote literacy and lifelong learning by encouraging reading at home.

The "BFF" program has already made a lasting impact, fostering literacy and education throughout the community. By breaking down barriers to book access, this initiative has brought the joy of reading to those who need it most—one book at a time.
